In addition to the age requirements, you must:
- Have a passport from an eligible nation or jurisdiction;
- Not be accompanied by dependent children;

- Not have previously entered Australia on a subclass 417 or 462 visa. If you have previously been in Australia on a subclass 417 visa, you will need a second Working Holiday visa.;
If you come from a country with high rates of tuberculosis, you might also need a medical examination and chest X-ray.
Once you have your working holiday visa, you can work and travel within Australia for 12 months, soaking in all the sun and good vibes that come from living Down Under. Usually, you can stay in one job for up to six months – with a few exceptions in specific situations.
Even better, you can extend your working holiday a full year if you work for at least three months in specified fields. If you work for at least six months in approved industries, you can even extend it for a third year.
